The 2019 ASFP AGM will be held at the Saddlers’ Hall in London on the 5th April. The ASFP AGM provides ASFP members and guests the opportunity to hear about ASFP activities during the year and get the latest advice on key issues from invited guest speakers.
ASFP are pleased to welcome the below speakers to the Annual General Meeting to address members and guests on key industry items.
Neil O’Connor – Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government
Neil is in charge of the Building Safety Programme, including involvement with their work on third party certification. Neil will be addressing ASFP members on the response to the Hackitt review given the Government’s Implementation Plan.
Michael Slattery – MS Associates
Michael will talk about his experiences taking responsibility for design, inspection & certification with the BCAR process, managing the construction phase and providing Ancillary Certification for the Assigned Certifier. This offers information on how changes might be made in the UK.
Rob Clay-Parker & Clive Everett – MD Insurance
Rob and Clive will be addressing members about the insurance backed guarantees that they currently offer for the Association of Specialist Underpinning Contractors and the potential to offer this service to ASFP members, providing a benefit to customers for using an ASFP member.
Craig McGowan – McGowan Corporate Solutions
Craig will be talking about the issues with Professional Indemnity Insurance and how McGowan Corporate Solutions can help members by providing a scheme that recognises the higher quality of ASFP members.
