Passive fire protection installer, Avesta Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Brendan Devine as a Senior Inspector, tasked with ensuring that all aspects of the company’s work are conducted to the highest standards; comply with regulatory and accreditation body controls; and meet manufacturers’ specifications.

Brendan’s main role will be to undertake site visits to assess internal works undertaken, as well as surveying the condition of existing buildings and liaising with clients, external consultants and other bodies. He will also assess the skill sets of the Avesta workforce, identifying training requirements and where appropriate delivering and organising training in-house.

Brendan brings over 32 years of passive fire protection experience to his new role. After working for a major passive fire protection installer company for 15 years on various projects in the UK and Europe, in 2001 he joined Warringtonfire as a site inspector, becoming a senior site inspector in 2014.
