Association for Specialist Fire Protection

ASFP Ireland works with a range of industry partners to provide training courses in the installation & management of passive fire protection in buildings. Since 2012 over 400 delegates have attended these courses in various locations across Ireland.

Training programmes currently scheduled during 2016 include:

 

Passive Fire Protection Training

International Fire Consultants (IFC) will be presenting a comprehensive passive fire protection training course at various locations. The programme includes a Core Module and Discipline Modules on Penetration Seals; Partitions, Cavity Barriers; and Fire Doors.

The successful programme has previously been held in Dublin 21-22 June 2016 and was hosted by Kilkenny Fire & Rescue Service on the 15-16 March 2016. Upcoming events include:

Fire Doors Explained – Understanding the Essentials

Exova BM TRADA will be presenting its two-day fire-resisting doorset training course at regional centres around Ireland. during 2016. Venue information & dates will be available shortly.

The course was piloted in January 2016, when Exova BM TRADA's Peter Barker presented at an event hosted by the Health Services Executive (HSE) at the Cherry Orchard Hospital in Dublin. The programme typically covers:
