The Division will focus on sharing best practise and developing the technical services available from Warringtonfire’s leading technical experts from around the globe. Particular emphasis will be placed upon developing the technical capability, delivery and scope for both its testing and product certification businesses. With 670 colleagues in the sector across the globe, task groups and committees will be established working through new technological platforms, to further harness this significant technical strength and depth.
As Divisional Technical Director, Mark, along with Peter Barker, Andrew Winning and Rob Wakefield, who have recently returned to the business, will work closely with his colleagues to help develop their areas of responsibility and establish the new division.
Rob Veitch, Executive Vice-President for Element’s Fire & Building Products sector which includes both Warringtonfire and BM TRADA said:
“With the continued development and enforcement of regulation in our sector, we need to ensure that we have both the capability and capacity to actively contribute to this, in order to meet the growing need our customers have for complex technical advice and competence. Our new Technical division will ensure that our customers receive the maximum benefit from our global team of technical experts and that we can continue to develop new certification schemes and contribute to the development of technical standards and future regulations”.
