ArcARC Building Solutions has received a significant strategic investment from Newable Capital.

Founded in 2008, Leeds-based ARC has grown to become the market leader in the manufacture and supply of award-winning certificated cavity fire barriers to the UK house-building and construction markets.

The investment by Newable Capital coincides with a factory move on Gildersome Spur, doubling the size of the previous unit to 43,000 square feet. The factory move will enable further improvements in production processes to better cope with increased demand for products.

It will also enable ARC to continue with its planned continued growth in sales, supplying major UK house-builders with an award-winning range of cavity fire barriers.

Founding shareholder Andrew Danzey said: “ARC has been looking for a new investor for a period of time who can help provide the finance and support to help us drive the business forward as we move to the new factory, develop new products and expand across the UK. We are delighted to be working with Newable Capital to help realise the potential of the business.”

Danzey, along with fellow founding shareholder Russell Irving, will continue with the company, which currently employs 60 members of staff. In addition to financial support, Newable Capital will offer additional resources across IT systems, automation, finance, HR and marketing.

Newable Capital supports excellent UK companies working at the heart of the economy. Over 300 investment opportunities were screened in 2019 and ARC is the first of a number of planned strategic investments.
