ASFPThe ASFP is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2020 ASFP Awards are now open.

While the Awards Lunch Event will not take place this year due to the Covid-19 situation, the ASFP feels it is still important to recognise the achievements of our members and the passive fire protection sector. The winners will be announced in December as usual and the Award presentations made at the ASFP AGM in 2021.

Please find below this year award categories and the relevant nomination forms for entry submissions. The closing date for entries is Friday 6th November 2020. Completed nomination forms are to be returned to georgina.fennell@asfp.org.uk with all supporting attachments.

ASFP Best Installation Project of the Year

The Best Installation Project will be awarded to an ASFP member company who has undertaken the best installation project as agreed by the judging panel. All projects must have been completed between 1 July 2019 – 1 September 2019. This nomination can be self nominated.

Passive Fire Innovation of the Year

The Passive Fire Innovation of the Year will be awarded to an ASFP member company who has an exceptional example of an innovative fire protection product or service. For example, an installation method, new software or a new product. The product or service must have been between 1 January 2019 – 1 June 2020. The nomination can be self nominated.

ASFP Member of the Year

The ASFP Member of the Year Award will be presented to an employee of an ASFP member company, that has shown outstanding performance within their industry. The nominated individual must currently be employed by an ASFP member company and the activities listed below must have been achieved whilst employed by an ASFP member company. This nomination cannot be self-nominated, the nomination must be made by a peer of the individual.

ASFP Passive Fire Protection Advocate of the Year

The Passive Fire Protection of the Year will be award to a non-member of ASFP who can demonstrate that they are a major advocate of high quality installed PFP. The nomination can be self-nominated and should include evidence of activities undertaken between 1 January 2019 – 1 June 2020 to raise awareness, educate and promote quality passive fire protection.
