Optimum Firestopping Division is proud to be involved in the fantastic Castle Park View development in the heart of Bristol’s vibrant city centre. The tallest residential building in the city, the site is based around an internal floor area of 29,373 sqm, comprising of 375 new homes, 75 of which are affordable homes within a structure book-ended by a 26-storey tower and a 10-storey block.
Built on the site of a former ambulance station, it forms part of Bristol’s major regeneration programme. The development will boast a business centre and concierge reception alongside leisure facilities for residents.
Having been involved from the early stages of development Optimum has had a great opportunity to work alongside the main contractor to ensure all firestopping aspects could be addressed in a timely and professional manner. The job itself has all the usual firestopping challenges expected with a build of this complexity. Working extremely closely with all parties involved including architects, product manufacturers and building control allows us to ensure the build is completed efficiently and in line with current legislation.
This exciting new development consisting of the latest design and building technologies is currently over 50% complete with handover expected in 2022.
