UL, in partnership with the Association of Specialist Fire Protection, is holding a Level 2 Foundation Course in Passive Fire Protection over three consecutive days from 24th – 26th March 2020, near Warrington.
Individuals who undertake the training have the opportunity to progress to the Level 2 qualification in Passive Fire Protection, provided by the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE), a nationally and internationally recognised awarding organisation regulated by the qualification regulators Ofqual.
The content of the training course has been designed by industry experts. It covers the essential aspects of fire protection and adds context for the attendee via the varied experience of the UL training team.
UL’s course trainers use a blend of slides, videos and activities that offer the learner a varied and enjoyable learning experience. They impart detailed information which will be useful both for the delegates’ work role and for the purpose of sitting the IFE exam.
The course is suitable for team leaders, senior installers working in passive fire protection roles, technical sales staff, site managers and those seeking to broaden their knowledge of passive fire protection in the built environment.
