Warringtonfire continues to invest in technical leadership

On the back of the rapid and continued growth of its technical division under the leadership of Divisional Technical Director Mark Cummings, Warringtonfire is making a significant additional investment in all of its colleagues, to develop their technical knowledge and skills and further strengthen its technical leadership position.

Over the past two years, Warringtonfire has developed almost 40 different ‘lunch and learn’ educational webinars. The webinars, delivered by its in-house technical experts, have proven to be immensely popular, with an average 150 delegates attending each session from locations around the globe.

Additionally, over 170 colleagues have enrolled and completed Warringtonfire’s continuing professional development programme, centred on the ASFP’s Foundation Course in Passive Fire Protection. Over 70 colleagues sat the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) exam, leading to the award of an IFE Level 2 or 3 certificate in Passive Fire Protection.

Rob Veitch, EVP for Warringtonfire says:

“We’re immensely proud of the technical leadership position we’ve built up in the passive fire protection industry. It’s important to our customers that we invest in our colleagues to develop their technical knowledge and capabilities. In doing so we can continue to provide them with the assurance they need that their products and services meet the market’s requirements, thereby minimising their risk and safeguarding their reputation.

“I am delighted at the response we have had to the continuing professional development training we have developed and am confident that that our customers will benefit from our colleagues on-going commitment to developing their technical knowledge.”
