The built environment is evolving, and with it, the need for clear, measurable competence. The ASFP Competence Framework provides a standardised, activity-based database across the building lifecycle. It benchmarks skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours (SKEB), helping professionals evidence their capabilities and driving higher standards of life safety.
How Does It Work?
The ASFP Competence Framework has been developed collaboratively with industry groups and subject matter experts to provide a common reference point for competence in passive fire protection. Use the framework alongside ASFP guidance and publications, which provide the first point of reference for routes to competence.
