Open Consultation | Managing Competence for Fire Resistant Glazing Installation Activities

ICSG sector led group 10, was established to lead the development of approaches to competence for installation and maintenance activities. Under SLG 10, a group of industry representatives including employers and trade associations has come together in the Fire Resisting Glazing Competence Group (FRGCG) to look specifically at requirements in this area.

Following extensive research and analysis, FRGCG has produced a proposal for the standard of skills, knowledge, experience and behaviour required and routes to competence for those installing fire resistant glazing. Comments are now invited on the proposals.
