This intermediate-level course lays the groundwork for understanding fire safety and fire science. It encompasses units covering a curated selection of passive fire protection systems. This is the knowledge that will equip delegates to study towards the IFE Level 2 Award in their chosen unit(s)

The classroom course, delivered by experienced PFP experts, spans 2 days with one full day of lectures per day, covering foundational fire safety and fire science across the delegates chosen unit(s). Delegates can choose multiple units if required.

The Institution of Fire Engineers Exam

ASFP's Level 2 and 3 classroom courses are designed to help candidates prepare for the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) exams and achieve their qualifications. These courses provide comprehensive training in passive fire protection, covering the necessary syllabus and offering additional resources for study.

Candidates must book the IFE exam separately from the ASFP training course. It is recommended to schedule your course well in advance of the exam to ensure ample preparation time..
