Request More Information350+Members of the Association 50Years of Industry Support Our Membership CategoriesThe ASFP offers a range of membership categories tailored to reflect the diverse roles within the passive fire protection industry. All applications for membership must complete the Association’s application form and agree to: commit to the ASFP’s training and qualification requirements; comply with the ASFP Byelaws and Code of Practice; and follow ASFP technical guidance where applicable. PFP ContractorAny contracting company employed in the design, application or installation of any type of PFP products and/or systems. PFP ManufacturerManufacturers of fire-stopping products, structural protection, ductwork/dampers, fire curtains, non-load bearing elements & fire retardant coatings. PFP DistributorAny specialist supplier, re-seller, or distributor of PFP products and PFP systems. Associate CompanyAny business involved in Testing, Certification and/or Inspection of PFP products, including professional service providers such as Architects and software system providers. Principal ContractorFor Principal/Tier 1 Contractors who are responsible for the overall coordination of a building project, but not necessarily involved in actual applications of PFP. Component and Materials ProducersA company that produces components and/or materials that contribute to (in part) the material make-up of passive fire protection products produced by ASFP Manufacturer members. Individual MemberAn Individual Member is an individual with an interest in Passive Fire Protection (PFP) but is not directly within the PFP industry. International CompanyA Manufacturer, Distributor, Contractor or Associate Company operating outside of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Trade or Industry Representative Body/AssociationsAn organisation which is defined as a trade association, industry trade group, business association, sector association or industry body or organisation founded and funded by businesses that operate in a specific industry and/or sector. Business AffiliateAn organisation that provides products and services not directly linked to PFP but are used by the Association's members, or that of wider stakeholders across the design, procurement, authority or occupation sectors. StudentsStudents studying towards a degree that would lead them into the world of PFP. |
