Annual Membership Fee Calculation:

Subscription Fees are based on the company turnover in PFP services as follows:

A non-refundable joining fee of £300 (+VAT) payable by all applicants to cover the administration costs of reviewing applicants credentials.

Plus an Annual Subscription Fee of:

Annual turnover in PFP services

Price (Excl. VAT)

£0 to £499k

£1,630 (+VAT)

£500k to £999k

£2,450 (+VAT)

£1M to £4.99M

£3,570 (+VAT)

over £5M

£5,400 (+VAT)

Membership Requirements and Byelaws

All Members must agree to abide by the ASFP's Code of Conduct and Byelaws. Successful member applicants for this class of membership shall be required to:

Provide evidence of appropriate levels of insurance cover (product and public liability)
Provide details of PFP products and systems manufactured/distributed
Provide one year’s financial accounts
Participate in the ASFP training programme for PFP at a level determined by the Council
Employ workers in strict compliance with current legal requirements regarding employment
Be certified to ISO 9001 or submit details of quality system, identifying the method of operation and management appropriate to their status as a manufacturer
Comply with the code of practice for the manufacture, supply and installation of PFP products or systems

Once all the above requirements have been met, an application can then progress to the final approval stage.
