LEVEL THREE CLASSROOM TRAINING

This advanced course covers fire safety, fire science, and passive fire protection systems. It prepares participants for the IFE Level 3 certificate in passive fire protection examination. Obtaining this certificate allows learners to apply for Technician-level membership with the IFE, gaining professional recognition globally as TIFireE.

Course Structure

The classroom course, delivered by experienced PFP experts, spans seven days over six months. It provides a comprehensive understanding of fire safety, fire science, and various forms of PFP through four structured modules:

Each module is organised into separate units for delegates to be able to continue their studies using provided coursework and reading material. 

The ASFP Classroom Courses are available to anyone, but you will need to book your own IFE Examination

The Institution of Fire Engineers Exam

ASFP's Level 2 and 3 classroom courses are designed to help candidates prepare for the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) exams and achieve their qualifications. These courses provide comprehensive training in passive fire protection, covering the necessary syllabus and offering additional resources for study.

Candidates must book the IFE exam separately from the ASFP training course. It is recommended to schedule your course well in advance of the exam to ensure ample preparation time..

*Notes Regarding Prices

  • Subject to Quoted & Ordered delegate numbers.
  • Member rates shown are for full Member Companies, discounted rates for Individual Members may differ.
  • For courses taken in person, as opposed to online, we do not provide travel, hotel or subsistence costs, these would be in addition to the course cost.
  • Charges would not be applied if appearances are for:
    • Other (non-competitive) trade associations.
    • Groups / associations made up from individual associations e.g. the CPA (Construction Products Association).
    • Regulatory groups.
    • Her Majesty’s Government groups.
    • BSI (British Standards Institute).
    • ‘Part Service Provision’ means the client / company provides the learning venue, plus hotel accommodation if required.
    • IFE member discount is applied to ‘non-member’ prices for Level 2 and 3 foundation courses at a rate of -15%.
    • All prices are subject to VAT at the current rate, unless deemed not applicable bay way of instruction from HMRC.
