Consort Insurance

Insurance Advice

Exclusive insurance programme enabling ‘Best of sector’ fire related organisations to access appropriate, comprehensive, and competitive capacity.

As the trusted insurance advisors to the ASFP, Consort are a fully licensed general insurance broker, capable of arranging placement for your entire commercial insurance program.

Given the increased scrutiny surrounding the fire industry following several high-profile events, insurer’s ability to provide cover within this space has been extremely limited. However, because of Consort’s extensive expertise in the fire related space, and our deep insurer relationships, we have developed a unique insurance solution that is likely to be of benefit to ASFP members; we refer to our programme as PaD.

PaD is in the form of a tailored and robust insurance programme inclusive of Contractors All Risks, with an A rated insurer and capacity within the Professional Indemnity market. PaD is not an open market solution and other brokers will not have access to Consort’s exclusive facility.

We can offer a complimentary, no-obligation consultation to discuss your business insurance needs, and to determine how our PaD insurance programme will benefit your business.

Please complete the form to the right to register your interest in this ASFP Member Benefit.

Why not sign up to one of our CPDs?

Consort Insurance develop regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development) webinar presentations, some of which are hosted by the ASFP. An example being: ‘The Implications of Professional Indemnity and Efficacy on your business’.

Our current CPD is entitled: ‘Building a Professional Indemnity Programme in Today’s Market’ and is scheduled for Tuesday 27th September at 10:30am. If you would like to attend, please contact advice@consortinsurance.com and we will send you the registration link. If you are unable to manage this date, please feel free to ask us about our next CPD.

Fire & Security Industry Insurance, Reserved for Best of Sector

Many companies operating within the fire industry have been unfairly associated with certain parts of the industry and, as the ‘Trusted Insurance Partner’ to the ASFP, Consort recognised that it was inappropriate to categorise fire related companies in this way, particularly those who hold third party accreditations and are members of credible fire industry associations such as the ASFP; so, we decided to do something to address this.

Given our intention to protect our exclusive capacity for the mutual benefit of our insurance partners and our clients, Consort’s PaD insurance programme is reserved for ‘Best of Sector’ organisations and alternative insurance brokers do not have access to PaD, and terms are exclusively available from Consort.

Our ability to identify specific insurance needs, unique methodologies, and strategic placement approach, means that with Consort you can be confident that your insurance programme will be perfectly aligned to your evolving business needs; because as your business evolves, so should your insurances.

Ask The Expert | Daniel White

With more than 10 years insurance related experience, my own experience and client base includes fire engineers and passive fire protection specialists, as well as fire alarm contractors and everything in between.

Consort are committed to supporting those operating within the fire sector to overcome the insurance challenges faced by the industry. Our extensive fire industry experience and pragmatic approach to dealing with the variety of complexities relating to our client’s insurance requirements, means that we are capable and well positioned to expertly guide and advise fire related organisations of all sizes.

There is no doubt that the Professional Indemnity market has presented some serious challenges to businesses looking to maintain cover, and even more so for those looking to increase cover. These results are achievable provided the work within the insurer market and placement strategy are carefully considered.

We hope to share some of our expertise and knowledge wherever possible and this is why we run regular webinars and CPDs in conjunction with the ASFP on several topics that will hopefully provide further insight into the nuances of cover and the insurance market as a whole.
