ASFP are pleased to announce that FSi Promat has achieved recognised provider status under the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) Training Recognition Service. This is a major milestone that reinforces FSi Promat’s commitment to delivering high-quality, technically robust training for the passive fire protection (PFP) sector.
The ASFP’s Training Recognition Service provides independent third-party evaluation of training courses specific to passive fire protection. Providers undergo a rigorous assessment process examining both training quality and technical capability before applications are reviewed by an independent industry panel. Training organisations that successfully meet the benchmark are awarded ASFP recognition for training delivery and are subject to ongoing oversight and quality monitoring, ensuring that the industry has access to trusted, high-quality training that is clearly identifiable.
FSi Promat’s recognition reflects its continued investment in raising standards across the fire protection industry through accessible, technically accurate and industry-relevant education.
Commenting on the achievement, Ashley Britt, Technical Advisor at FSi Promat, said:
"FSi Promat is proud to be an ASFP-recognised training provider. The ASFP is a highly respected and trusted organisation within our industry, and achieving this recognition reinforces our ongoing commitment to competency, quality and best practice. We are excited to hold this accreditation and the assurance it provides to our customers and partners.
"The ASFP recognition process is rightly rigorous. While it can be demanding, we fully appreciate the level of scrutiny involved, as it ensures only high-quality providers meet the standard. As a trusted authority within the industry, the ASFP plays a vital role in maintaining excellence, and this initiative is a significant step in giving customers confidence in the training they receive. We found the process thorough, fair and ultimately very valuable.
"Throughout the process, Tariq [Malik] was extremely helpful and thorough, reviewing all aspects of our processes and capabilities in delivering informative and educational training, as well as our approach to product knowledge and wider industry practices. Overall, we found the process to be fair, comprehensive and highly valuable, and we are excited to hold this accreditation and to continue building on the high standards it represents for the benefit of our customers and partners.”
The recognition further strengthens FSi Promat’s position as a leading provider of passive fire protection solutions and technical training, supporting installers, specifiers, contractors and fire safety professionals across the construction industry.
